TEN GREAT REASONS TO LIVE IN
THE AUSTIN TEXAS HILL COUNTRY |

HEAD FOR THE HILLS! TEXAS HILL COUNTRY LIVING AT IT'S FINEST
Congratulations!
You have entered what many people
call a little slice of Heaven. The population west of Austin Texas has doubled
in the past decade, and there are no signs of slowing down. So why is Central
Texas so hot? (Of course there's the sunny weather, the natural appeal of miles
of rugged hills and beautiful Lake Travis, just minutes away, the largest
recreational lake in Texas.) Add to these elements a low unemployment rate,
accessible higher education with more than eight colleges and universities and a
comparatively low cost of living, and you've found one of the most desirable
places to live and work in the Lone Star State.
One of the most celebrated
attributes of Central Texas is the casual, laidback culture and lifestyle that
seems to spark the imagination. Creativity buzzes through the Hill Country in a
dynamic current of art, music and literature in a rustic-chic setting where
pickup trucks park next to Porsches and Longhorns still graze the hillsides.
These seeming dichotomies work just fine for Central Texans. And judging from
the ongoing population boom, it seems to be just fine with a lot of other folks
too!
